Fucking embarassement this whole situation is.

After many fans on here including myself calling for the some of the bomb squad to be reintegrated after just a couple of months of the last campaign and PL steadfast refused. He now decides to do a u-turn on the whole thing, only at the Villa; I just hope they are true professionals about all this (I don’t doubt Bent) and get on with the job of playing footy if given a chance!

Expecting some tweets from Huttons missus in the near future.

Sell to buy situation I feel ,so it’s make the best of what we’ve got, how Fucking shambolic is that???? Possibly as a short term fix we should grab the loan market with both hands. Some on here may disagree.

Fully agree Giddy. Some loanees wouldn’t go amiss mate, doesn’t look like we’re going to have much money lying around. If we can get in 2 or 3 solid loanees for the season that would be nice. 2 midfielders and a CB for me

All 3 players suffered dips in form, even pretty severe dips – and at the time dropping them made sense. But let’s be honest, it was utter nonsense that they were removed from the first team and ostracised in a way that meant that when our newcomers were total shite that we didn’t have their experience available to fall back on. Surely it would have been fine to say, you’ve not played well, you’re dropped – sit in reserves until you form improves… It was the worst man-management imaginable… and now Lambert’s been over-ruled and told to use them. What sort of message does that send to the rest of the team? Well for one, it means that Lambert got it wrong first time and they’ll lose respect for him. The only way we’ll stay up this season with Lambert in charge is if the players play for themselves and forget this muppet. With any luck we’ll be bottom 3 by October and sack him no matter what.

I’m all for bringing these guys back for a clean start – what other choice do we have? It makes perfect sense and despite the split opinion on Bent and Zog, I think they both have a lot to offer still.

ooh ah would you ??? If my boss had treated me like a child and let the world know I had to play in the baby playground then came back and relied on me to save his skin, i would take every opportunity to make him look like a twat and blame him for everything I could…… Is that just me or ????

Saw that the bookies have us as low as 3/1 to be relegated next season there are only a few clubs at shorter odds and they are the ones that have come up. i was looking it up to have a few quid on as i cant see us getting sold and if we arnet i fully expect us to get one of the lowest points totals in the premier legues history. We are now in such a dire position its really frightening where we could end up.

i am all for integrating them into the squad, lets not be clouded lerner had a hand in the bomb squad, as he now commands the reintroducing because he knows they are not gonna shift um by simply ignoring um, hoping their pride will see um leaving. i can’t believe the wages these players are on,its a disgrace they are allowed to pick up full wages for no contributions, bent did absolutely nothing 4 fulham i red some posts saying hes fat and lazy and not fit to wear their shirt. so no doubt he will fit straight back in with the rest of the squad.

maybe a little reverse psychology this seems like 2me, our precious lmao other clubs don’t want our rejects maybe having them around the squad may help to shift um. nzog i believe is a quality player, i think its the wages lerner doesn’t like. but isn’t he the guy who allowed um to be signed, its not like its his debts he seems 2 have put it on our slate, hes cleaning up the mess he done because he can’t sell other=wise not because he wants 2 leave us in good order

Well my answer to that Nath is set a realistic weight for him to be, if he’s medically set at that and he goes over that agreement, fine him £1000 for every lbs he goes over. Then the club get some money back. Is that a daft idea, or not.? To me its punishment for begin lazy.

for once we singing on the same hymn sheet, i would go further, a set of very strict rules for former bombers like u say fine the feckers, over weight fine um, late fine um, not listening fine um. they will soon repay for being limpets or is that parasites

As someone said above, this is just embarrasing.
I was going to post about it last night, but quite simply couldn’t be arsed, as I’m struggling to believe what’s going on at the club lately.
It’s just mistake after mistake after mistake for me.

At a time when it was blatantly obvious we needed experience to help the kids out, the bomb squad were totally blanked out by the club.
The aim was obviously to try and force them into leaving and this just proves how naive whoever made this decision is.
There is no way the players in question were ever going to be able to get the same wages at other clubs, as the trend is now downwards, unless you’re genuine world class.
So where is the sense in forcing them to train with the kids and not use them, regardless of how poor the team have been?
I can’t think of a better way to get someone to say “f*ck you, I’m going nowhere”!

So then, when the players have cost us god knows how many millions in wages, we tell them we want to use them again?
    It’s just pathetic.

The only chance we have of getting anything out of these players is personal pride and the fact that they will be playing themselves into the shop window.

Bent, if given proper service is a great striker, albeit he does need a few chances per goal.
But it’s undeniable that he gets goals.
Whether he’ll get the service he needs, now that we’ve let our best crosser go (another unbelievable decision imo) is doubtful, so I can’t see him working. I mean, how many chances do we create?
Still, he’s a better option than at least half our strikers.

N’Zog, although I think he’s a great player, I just don’t think will work either. He just won’t suit our crap football because he doesn’t work hard enough.

Mutton will probably at least improve our defence, but given the crap we have at RB, that’s not saying much. Still, that might allow Bacuna to play in the position that the man himself thinks he’s the best in.

It also seems we aren’t going to be spending much in the window. That’ll be another £30 mill bonus at least going to Lerner then.
I wonder if he’ll cut the price of the club by that amount?
    I doubt it.
Regardless, a serious lack of investment now will prove to be yet another mistake, as by the looks of it we’ll be going down if someone doesn’t buy us imminently.
I struggle to believe Lerner would take this kind of gamble, but given his history, anything’s possible.

can i see the link or article where he stated he knew it was for sale for 6 weeks?
I actually don’t need to see it to be fair, Liar you say? hmm attribute you say? is this a compliment, because i am pretty sure its one deployed by every manager, footballer, agent and probably most fans when it comes to sharing information with the public!
Liar, like company secrets? should we all know what goes into coca-cola? is it really a secret formula!
what about every business that prepares to sell and does not share that info for the purposes of ensuring the sale and to avoid charges of insider trading.
what is the need for random paper thin accusations?
I get the feeling if Lambert had known about the sale and came forward with that right from the off, he would of been branded a fool and idiot for jeopardising the sale or breaking his word or his relationship with his players/owner,
I may even guess that you could of been one of those people to probably accuse him!
