Palace up next then and they did quite well last season having finished 10th, didn’t they?
I quite fancy them to be a bit of a surprise package this season; well at least a package that might see them improve on that 10th, at least.
Not that I’m interested in them, apart from the fact that they play in some decent colours.
Last season we played them twice in a month, with us pinching a quite lucky win at their place, while we shared the points at Villa Park on new year’s day.
Injury-wise, I’m not seeing many problems for Palace, although goalie Julіan Speronі and Marouane Chamakh probably aren’t ready yet.
As for the Villa, Okore is still out and Crespo’s still recovering from a groin injury.
Gil, Traore and Grealish played for the under 21s on Monday, with Grealish scoring.
Reading between the lines, I expect Grealish to be part of the line-up tomorrow, but suspect it’s too early for Gil. Although Sherwood has been playing down Traore, in saying that he’s one for the future and only a kid who isn’t our saviour, it really wouldn’t surprise me if he was to get a few minutes off the bench, just to savour the atmosphere, as the Palace fans do make some noise.
As for the rest of our team, I don’t see much changing, apart from Grealish taking Sinclair’s place, where the link-up on the left could be a big threat.
So what’s my prediction then?
I definitely see goals, but not many, which doesn’t quite make sense, given that both teams have pacey attacks.
My head says it’ll be a 2-1, but I can’t say who to.
I’m still not convinced by our defence, to be honest, even though many of us seem to think we look better.
My heart says it’ll be a goal apiece.
Which would do for me, in that we’d have four points out of our first three games.
Not stunning, but reasonable, given that we have played our guaranteed loser at home to the mancs.
Lovely ball from Grealish to Gabby, but sheesh!
omg gabby is the worst player we have by a mile. he is shit
Not good enough again form Gabby fxxked up again in front of goal.
Sanchez and Grealish have been great so far. Gaby is the only reason we aren’t in front
I agree Darren Sanchez and Grealish playing great stuff.
Guzan bad distribution again!
Shabby has supposed to have had a very poor half according to the commentator,Tim PLEASE take note he’s SHITE.
a wheelie bin would be more effective than gabby.
with him in the team its like playing with 10 men.
how does he keep getting picked for the first team.
Bournemouth 2 up at West ham. Blimey.
sherwood
please please
replace gabby pure shite
westwood not good enough
guzan sorry can not kick out a ball big problem whenyou are keeper
plusses
defence doing ok need bit protection in front bacuna
sanchez play like that every week superb
grealish pity only have gabby in front to pass to
get westwood gabby off put on traore and vertout
I do believe shabby is holding back this team progressing, improving, taking it up a notch even moving forward.he’s part of VILLA history that needs FUCKING OFF.
Bacuna struggled early in my opinion but has got better as the half went on. Guzan still can’t kick. Gaby needs to come off ASAP. Want to see Traore come on. This game would be good for veretout as the pace of the game is slower. Gestede getting in some good positions and presenting well, hasn’t really received the right ball yet and has had a couple poor touches.
Sanchez and Grealish have been immense.
Yes love to see traore can’t see it being too long til he makes his debut, just fuck Mr VILLA OFF
crystal palace two subs us none. wtf tim get the wheelie bin off
Shit 0-1 and looked off
SHITE Tim time for changes goal disallowed yes
Yep, off.
Blimey, the ref chatted about it too.
offside no goal
Well done by the ref to reverse that goal. Definitely offside
tim needs to make some changes . we are starting to get over run
palace cranking the pressure up nevertheless.
We could do with something changing maybe?
Need to freshen things up Palace getting on top.
Traore coming on!
I knew Sherwood was having us at it, lol.
But for Sanchez? Not sure that’s the right call. Definitely wanted Traore on though
