QPR will go down.
Of that, I have no doubt whatsoever.
But the fact is they beat us quite easily, with two chances that they took, as opposed to our chances that we didn’t.
I really don’t know what to say.
We looked toothless, yet again.
After a confident start, where we passed it around quite nicely for the first bit; we simply bottled it, in my opinion.
There are just tons of areas to point a finger at.
Why was Weimann, constantly playing on the right side, the focus of everything we did?
I was thinking Weimann was actually doing ok, but it looked like he was well marshalled by the QPR defence, hence he wasn’t going to get anywhere.
Imagine then, my fears when he got injured and I was thinking he might have to be subbed.
Who would replace him in this quite simply shockingly single plan tactic of going for their left side of defence?
The point is, why did Gabby and Sissoko not get a look in?
The truth is, I’m knackered, so perhaps I’m seeing things wrong.
But you want my man of the match?
Sanchez, by a country mile, even though he was probably at fault for the second.
How much ground does the man have to cover to protect the utter rubbish he has around him?
I turned off after 85 minutes, as I couldn’t face watching anymore.
I think I’d better leave it at that, as I’m thoroughly disgusted by what I’ve seen tonight.
I really hope the shambles are back in training today,as they had a day off yesterday.
Love that Vlaars getting blamed for the goals. Easy target since he’s a transfer speculation eh. What did Lowton, Clarke, Cissokho, Westwood, Gabby, Weimann, Benteke all contribute…..F*** all thats what, I’d blame them and Lamberts disgraceful tactics.
He’s being blamed as he’s the one who’s supposed to be the captain and senior player, the one who’s nicknamed concrete!! He was bullied for the first goal. I agree that others were as shit but that doesn’t make it better. Transfer target? Who the holy fuck would buy him after watching that?
AGREED we were shit as a unit.
Giddy there are players with ability in that team/squad but under this clown we are a team that is less than the sum of its parts, no craft, no guile, no organisation, no f**king idea.
He’s gotta go.
True words BWS, them very words I’ve been saying for ages, yes we do have good players, what we don’t have is good manager, coaching staff, and owner, Villa are going to drop this year with what I’ve seen, our only savior is get that prat out of Villa.
Cheers Bill, the Mail are finally having a pop – posted the link below.
Again AGREED mate I can’t see any other way but fuck him off before its too late.
Aston Villa fans calling for Paul Lambert to go after defeat at QPR (B’ham Mail)
Good God the B’ham Mail as at last put something up having a go at Lambert (and not before time). Is this the beginning of the end? As someone at VP given them the green light? Or an I clutching at straws?
http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-fans-calling-paul-8008025?
Lol I see a certain Terry Jones put his pennies worth in mate, but amongst the other fans I have to fully agree.with our up& coming fixtures I can’t see us achieving a single fucking point.bottom of the pile by the end of November if not before FUCK OFF LAMBERT & CO.
I mention tel j & I’m suddenly moderated LMAO it must be a swear word not accepted on here.
What giggy you mentioned Terry Jones, god help us.
You right mate its a swear word done it with me.
What’s happened is the name is the banned word.
Let’s just call him the unmentionable one.
OK, have you heard from the unmentioned person at all,?
Bill have you red BWS’s link if you read the fans posts you’ll see the unmentionables name MATE.
Cheers Giddy read it but adverts was covered the read, will look now.
From the unmentioned Lambert go now you are not fit to manage a pub team mind you that,s what you have turned VILLA into for god sake admit you don;t know what you are .press.
It’s the AVNV Gestapo. Not for the first time…
Will be an interesting game against Spuds. All the wrong ingredients…at Home, Spurs can’t wait to play us, the tension in the side will be wound up so tight the team will be even worse. They may trounce us…Actually change that to WILL. Gonna settle down in the pub and watch that game. I might wear rubber and get someone to shove a chair leg up me arse as I’m a sucker foor punishment.
LAMBERT. LERNER. GET OUT OF OUR CLUB NOW!!!!!
Have some All Bran before you go out as I hear fibre in the diet will soften the stool.
It’s now becoming a disgrace, when will the penny drop that you cannot play “wingers” that are not wingers, there is no “plan b”, I mean what does he do with them in training, apart from creating a list of injuries?…we are the most predictable side in the division..and it’s just getting pathetic to watch, and it really is time to stop finding a place for that useless piece of dung that is Agbonlahor. Lambert Out.
Get David moyes in
LOL bum bum nice one.
Yes, David Moyes. Another useless, defensive minded coach who has no other version/vision of the game than the manager’s we’ve had for the last Decade bar Houllier. Brilliant idea. Rather have Pulis if we’re going defensive managers.
Agree Andrew im sick of these useless dull Scottish managers. Despite being a up liverpools arse houllier plays some of the most entertaining football iv seen in awhile at vp. Before he got ill we were starting to look like a decent team. We need a younger houllier or a koeman type manager.
helnius
are you lambert because you are the only one defending vlar and look at guzan stats every shot goes in, last night he comes out and punches one away at waist height he like all rest of stats bottom 2 of goalies LAMBERT OUT
Jvillan, takes time with Helenius the name alone should tell you that.
JVillan welcome to the Guzan [lack of] Appreciation Society. There are now two of us posting on this site. Teams are built from the back and a shite goalie eventually affects the positioning of his back four. My candidate for worst goalie in the Prem kept a clean sheet last night and I am not sure if he is now off the bottom of the table.
Samora chests the ball sideways on the edge of the D, that is 24 yards from goal, and Guzan is beaten by yard from there. He was only standing 4 yards from the post to start with and a right footed ground shot going inside his right post beat him.
Leon Osman scored the same goal twice last season, and both were exactly similar to the second last night. The photo in the Times shows clearly that Vlaar alongside Austin has covered with his body two thirds of the goal. the only place Austin can shoot and not hit Vlaar is 3 yards starting at the left upright. Guzan is still standing in the middle of the goal when the shot is taken.
There is no cure for this, it is between the ears, either you have instinctive ability to cover the possible shots and leave the impossible, or you haven’t and will never be a top flight keeper.
I read the Mail story and saw the other articles – one claiming that “Lambert thinks Villa will find the back of the net soon.” Eh? We are running the” Month of the Goal” competition on here and I have just lost a packet on October. The only Villa player finding the back of the net in October was Guzan. Every time he turned round there was a ball in it.
And so it begins…
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/lambert-out
I’ve put I my pennies worth MATE.
And me lads.
About bloody time too should have done this ages ago
Signed.
Bum bum, how many have signed as I cannot get back in yet?
It said zero when I signed but that can’t be right. Loads on Vital have signed. A few still holding out as they think someone worse that Lambert could be out there.
252 as of now.
Cheers bum bum , 43 when I signed.
Morning Bill just having a butchers at the Vital Lambert Out piece and to be honest I’m f**king stunned at some of the comments on there, he’s one example
“i would never sign such crap. SUPPORT the manager. SUPPORT the team. idiots”
Can you believe it? We have manager that’s broke record after record for all the wrong reasons and even after 3 seasons of this twats dire football and totally inept management the Lambert’s apologists are still going strong. I despair mate.
Hi BWS, sorry not came back was out doing my husband job, bleeding shopping, That has to be Lambert himself,or one of his relatives, there cannot be anyone daft enough to now think he’s the fucking one, if they do ,they have to be sub normal, its somebody that would shop you to the Gestapo ,no brains.
Bill that comment is one of many that unbelievably try to defend him, they remind me of a victim of domestic abuse that always defend their spouses actions because (as they often say) ‘But he/she Loves me’.
Here’s some reading for all the Lambert Apologists out there – It don’t make pleasant reading but maybe it may help them see the light.
https://aviewfromtheholteend.wordpress.com/2014/10/28/how-do-you-solve-a-problem-like-the-villa/
great article BWS, statistics do not lie…… I just cannot believe he now has a 4 year contract, this is worse than Newcastle giving Pardew a 7 year one
WOW BWS, now that’s what I call a record, the worst manager Villa has ever had, I’ve one for you, just read this in a Coventry Sports football byJack Pitt-Brooks full page page 50, head line Lambert is a worried man as Benteke struggles on. He also quoted,we need to be more clinicle. My main concern was that we haven’t scored when we was on top. What the F,.’k ,has he just woke up or what.

Paul Lambert is not losing any sleep over the collective lack of goals from his team and insists he boasts enough striking talent to turn things around.
The Aston Villa boss saw his side slip to a 2-0 reverse at QPR on Monday evening, a fifth straight Barclays Premier League defeat.
That statistic alone will be galling for Villa fans but the fact they have not seen their side score a goal in nearly nine hours will be of equal concern.
A brace from QPR’s own frontman Charlie Austin settled this unspectacular affair as the 25-year-old struck in either half to move Rangers off the foot of the table and take a little pressure off his manager Harry Redknapp. Another article BWS.
On Sunday the crowd have to call for his head before and after match regardless of scoreline. If we want him out like most fans are saying then the only way is to hound him out like we did with Mcleish. The problem is if we play well and win which is possible the Lambetk apologists won’t say a word. We have to tell la,berk he’s not welcome anymore enough is enough though I’m sure fans will let him of as normal. Notice away support at qpr didn’t call for his head either.
Oohah read this piece in the independence. By JACK PITT-BROOKE

Aston Villa’s poor run began when they conceded goals to Arsenal’s Mesut Özil and Danny Welbeck, then Diego Costa for Chelsea and Yaya Touré and Sergio Aguero for Manchester City. Some defeats are understandable.
However, on Monday night they were outplayed by Queens Park Rangers – who recorded their second win of the season and only their second clean sheet – and their form suddenly looks rather more worrying.
Villa have now not scored a goal since Gabriel Agbonlahor did so at Anfield on 13 September. Since then they have played just short of nine hours of football without finding the net – in which time they have lost to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Everton and now QPR.
At Loftus Road on Monday evening their only real chance came when Ciaran Clark – a central defender – failed to capitalise on a Christian Benteke knock-down from a free-kick. There was little else of note.
QPR 2 Aston Villa 0 player ratings
The Villa manager, Paul Lambert, admitted that he was disappointed by the lack of cutting edge from a side who had possession and intent but none of the quality or confidence required even to create chances.
“I was pleased the amount of ball we had and what we were doing with it,” Lambert said afterwards. “It is just that we had to be more clinical. My main concern was that we haven’t scored when we were on top.
“If you don’t put the ball in the net, you’re not going to win games. It’s a concern when you don’t win football games and that losing streak has to stop – but we have another tough game on Sunday [against Tottenham].”
Paul Lambert’s team have not scored in nearly nine hours of football
One of Villa’s many problems is their Benteke dependency. They struggle to score goals without their best player and ever since his Achilles injury in early April they have not been the same team. In the last seven games of last season, without him, they scored five goals. In their six league games before he came back this time, they scored four.
Benteke returned against Manchester City on 4 October, six months after his injury. Monday night was his third appearance and second start of his comeback, but he looked far from his powerful best, unable to impose himself on Richard Dunne and Steven Caulker and lacking sharpness in his first touch and his shooting.
“The injury he had was really severe and that’s only his second game in six months,” Lambert said. “It’s a long time to be out and we may have to wait six or seven games before he gets back up to speed. There were signs there tonight to show that he is getting there.”
The problem for Villa is that their whole system is built around exploiting the power of their front-man. Andreas Weimann and Agbonlahor looked blunt against the Premier League’s most porous defence, while in midfield Tom Cleverley and Ashley Westwood were tidy in possession without ever being incisive.

QPR owner Tony Fernandes posts topless picture
At the other end, the defence twice lost track of Charlie Austin and Villa succumbed 2-0. Lambert was understandably unimpressed. “I thought the two goals we lost were shocking, especially when we were on top,” he said. “I don’t think we defended well enough to win a game of football.”
Of course, when Benteke returns to form the whole team will be lifted. But, in Lambert’s third season as Villa manager, some Villa fans are starting to wonder if they might ever be able to hope for better than that.
After a good start to this season expectations are already being re-adjusted downwards and, while Villa have a better chance than some of staying up, it is difficult to see the season providing very much in the way of inspiration or enjoyment
I wonder if lambert and his coaching team look at all these lower league teams scoring against premier league teams and think how the fuck have they done that.
Let’s hope they do Banksie. Bournemouth fielded their first team at St Andrews – Eddie Howe must have reckoned that was overkill, because he put the reserves out against the Baggies and still won. Eddie does not field two players who fill the same role and get in each others way – he sold Grabban because of that. Benteke is a left sided forward who plays in the place the Gabby would play in given the choice. I would either drop Gabby or put him in at left back, he can cross a ball better than Cissoko.
My guess is he’s scouting them, hoping to sign them in January.
I watched on TV Bournemouth stuffing the Blues and Bournemouth Reserves stuffing the Baggies. Not once did I see a midfield player facing his own goal play the ball back to the same defender who had played it forward to him. That happens 10 times in a Villa game. They attack with 3 fast players going forward together and play as much one-touch football as possible.
It’s entertaining – in fact it is everything Villa performances are not under Lambert.
That front cover on Elite a joke? The ultimate article that makes you want to end it all. HOW HE IS STILL MANAGER IS A FARCE.
Can we have Pardew if the Barcodes don’t want him? What a result…and with an arguable B team as well!!!!!
You guys are unbelievable. You now want Pardew on one result – the very thing you criticise ‘Lambert apologists’ for. Pullis is the new saviour. What price ‘Big Sam’ vilified by all on here not long ago and you have the brass face to criticise those who consistently (if misguidedly) support Lambert.
I very much agree with that, although Pardew’s at least showed he can change Newcastle, has had at least one good season with them and their fortunes have turned the last 3 games.
Pulis isn’t the new saviour, does seem a common thing to do is pick out a few EPL-experienced manager’s better than Lambert (which you could name everyone to ever manage in the Premier League) to come in and “rescue” us. Although till the end of the season when you can get a full time manager, would be better than wasting another game/training session of Lambert and Keane telling them how to play.
That’s the thing though, Pardew, Big Sam, they’ve both changed how their teams are doing. Big Sam has West Ham playing the football most Villa fans have wanted for ages, We have Lambert who can’t do that, and while I agree some of the reactions of “we should get so and so” from other Prem clubs, we need 100% different than anyone we’ve had bar Houllier, and Pardew and Big Sam aren’t that.
Pardew was tongue in cheek…I think everyone’s losing their sense of humour because of the shit we’re in…
I think most on here are facing up to the inevitable – we are in for a scrappy relegation fight yet again, with no chance of changing the football style under Mr Lambert. We have avoided the drop and relied on others below us being more awful than us for a number of seasons now, so maybe it is deserved.
We are desperate for a change and people are deservedly thinking out loud, as anyone can surely be better than Lambert both tactically and in the upcoming transfer window.
H60 we’re unbelievable??? You’re the fella on holiday in the Caribbean that can’t stop posting! Now that is unbelievable!
Turn the phone off, go enjoy.
Ho and Paul Lambert’s a bargain Hunt. He’s gotta go.
I thought only teenagers suffered from FOMO!
Maybe I’m being cynical but this Bakary Sako thing seems total red herring in a poor attempt to take the heat off Lambert.
Not working- Lambert Out!
Hitchens enjoy the slob out mate chill get pissed.
Hey bum bum 502 now, on ipertitions site.what’s that then BWS about Sako.?
http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/2014/10/30/wolves-will-fight-villa-to-keep-bakary-sako/?
He’d be better off staying where he is. Lambert wouldn’t know what to do with Messi…
Big question of the day.
Can Villa score during today’s open training session?
Lambert OUT!
LOL & spot on
Just read a post on another Villa site that Lambert’s getting booed at the open session, that’s got to tell him his times up surely?
Hopefully he will get booed on Sunday regardless of result.
Hopefully just the tip of the iceberg mate, fans are slowly but surely seeing the bigger picture. apart from the fucking PR sites.about fucking time.
Sunday could (or should) turn nasty if we concede a couple early on and to be honest if they (the Spuds) do I can see them running riot and I know it’s wrong but 4-0 at 40/1 is very tempting.
Err, don’t know much about the guy, ex st Etian and winger, we don’t play wingers do we? well we’ve had them and put them in defence, pipe dream I’d say. Best move would be a new manager.:-)
Have you noticed how one or two have kept their heads down on here, the truth as they say hurts, I think we all know that we’ve got a lot more heartache before things will get better by Lerner waking up to us fans horror game’s he’s given us.
Lol don’t stand on ceremony Bill name names!
BWS you don’t have to get me to say do you, lol, might cause insults again and get my blood pressure up, the quake just passed me only yesterday saying your bloods OK but don’t watch the Villa matches.:-)
Yep the lamberk apologists have run for cover lol
Oohah, I don’t think they are running for cover. Rather, they’re admitting for the first time that they’ve been in the wrong. I’ve seen many tweets to this effect. It is obvious for all to see, even with the tough run of fixtures for two reasons. Firstly our poor showing in them and secondly the results the ‘sky teams’ have had against smaller teams show they can drop points if played correctly. Lamberk is suffering the death of a thousand cuts now and it’s up to Lerner to put him (and us) out of his misery! What about a poll on the site – who would stomach a total humiliation at home on Sunday if it meant Lamberk and Keane out? I’ll kick it off with my vote – YES
Sir Earl, they have one going on,WWW. petitions.com . about 600 names so far looking for 1000 and sending it of to the club.
Hope your right SEB but why has it took this long for lamberk apologists to see the light. These are probably the same fans that hounded mclown out and have only just realised that his replacement is actually worse but hate to admit it. Ok even if he is sacked then what roy fuckin keane from the jungle, pullis, Kevin dithering McDonald. We can’t trust lerner to get it right they both have to go now.
Managers have so much better stats and diagrams now, so what is their excuse for failure to address the obvious?. I recall discussions (rows really) 10 years ago with fans in the Trinity Rd and bringing a clipboard with a pitch diagram and columns so they could track the places on the field a player received and passed the ball. Often they were forced to alter their view of a player after looking at their diagram. Now the average field position and every touch of every player pings up on a computer.
So there is no excuse for Lambert not knowing that Benteke and Gabby will be treading on each others toes in a position slightly infield from where a left winger would expect to be. Solution, point this out and move one of them – if that fails as it is likely to do, drop one to the bench as replacement for the other. There is a huge gap from centre forward to right wing which is populated occasionally by Weimann, less often by Hutton, and frequently by nobody. Nzogbia just adds to the left wing congestion. We got rid of Albrighton so we need another player who naturally slots into that gap. Bacuna might do, or a kid from the reserves.
There is another gap from right back to right sided centre half which Hutton does not fill often enough and only Senderos of the other centre halves naturally populates. Think back on the stream of goals we conceded since last scoring and you will find the scorer or assister getting free run in that area.
Painfully scientific. Painfully accurate.
Ok I’ve nicked this from another site but it’s brilliant, I just had to.
“I dedicate this song to Randy Lerner, Paul Lambert and all those heroes at Villa Park who are making us so proud of Aston Villa.” (Steamer AV Life)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3i6OrOZwtmA
Not bad BWS, but he wasn’t an asshole tonight but since he came he’s been an asshole, I see that things are picking up at Villa, they are going to feed the club from their allotments on potatoes that are organic, that should help the player’s.
Here we go lads not much of a change here,
Starting XIs

Testing
What’s happened to Andros Townsend?
Hate to be like this but I’m thinking that we are in for a rough road tomorrow, best will be a draw 1-1 , I do hope its a win we need it so badly, come on Villa work for that home win.
And Aaron Lennon?
What happened to the site earlier????
Like Villa, it packed up!!!!
If it was like Villa, it would have worked very well for ten minutes, then fucked up because of appalling management for the next 80…lol!
