I told you we’d do Norwich, didn’t I?
Ok, we didn’t score more than two goals as I predicted and the truth is we looked the poorer team.
Yet we still won.
This is what matters; points on the board.
And we’re getting them.
It didn’t take a miracle prediction, but maybe some of you doubters can now see where we are?
We’re going to do QPR too, simple as.
Why?
God knows, save momentum is on our side.
I can look into the ins and outs, but none of it matters.
We’re involved in a bigger game, where we’re easily the form side in the table.
Lady luck is now the only one who counts and until we lose a game I’m really not writing off a play-off place.
I know I really shouldn’t, but it’s the hope that keeps us alive, isn’t it?
Villa to win; 2-1.
I was going to predict Hourihane to score, but hmmm.
Strange game football – I know this is obvious but it’s not how well you play it’s how efficiently you take chances – the conversion ratio of shots on goal is the only stat that really counts. So we only had 33% possession against Norwich, so they passed the ball around more but they couldn’t convert the chances they had – something we know all about.
SB is slowly building a team that can get us out of the Championship – whether he can kick us on to a different level should (when) we get promoted is for another day.
Oh yes and QPR – well we have to believe we can win don’t we 3-1 Villa.
Must of us are expecting a win tonight. We need to keep the momentum going , can Bruce create a miracle and get us into the playoffs ?. Villa win 2 – 0.
Villa;
Johnstone, Hutton, Chester, Baker, Taylor, Bacuna, Jedinak, Lansbury, Amavi, Adohma, Kodjia
looks like i will be missing another game 🙁
i reckon hogan will prove a master stroke of a signing. i have only seen a small amounts of him. but i like what i seen lots. movement and vision top notch, he works and i think he will be our fox in the box once he gets settle and gets over the injury niggles. in last game he swiveled in no space and just put a shot no back lift just wide.
tonights game its a difficult one. cause their manager has egg on his face and he will try to build a defensive wall, halfway in their half. so happy we proved this muppet wrong.
I’ll keep you updated on owt important Nath.
