Villa Southampton; not much to say. Oh, i forgot about Okore

Well, this one is going to be brief, as the truth is that now we’re relegated, it doesn’t really matter does it?
I can’t see beyond yet another loss, given that Southampton are playing for the Europa league and our bunch of mugs generally couldn’t care less.

I suppose that’s a bit unfair really, as I’m sure some do care, but they seem few and far between.

Sod it, I’m not going to mince my words anymore and this is another loss, plain and simple, as any Premier league side is miles better than what we are.

My previous prediction, a few weeks ago, where I suggested we wouldn’t get another point this season was somewhat tongue in cheek.
But I’m now suspecting it will prove accurate.
Yes, we’re that bad.

Richardson and Clark are injury worries and their fitness will be reviewed in the morning.
But Richardson even being a worry just shows the state we’re in.
I’ve said it before, but the bloke is so average (at best), it’s unbelievable.
And it’s exactly why we are where we are.

But we all know this.

As for Southampton, well, I don’t care, they could play their kids (now that’s a proper academy, that produces players and not statistics) and they’d probably beat us.

The score?

Well, I reckon we might get 1.
Nah, sod it again.

0-2

As for Okore, what a dirty lowlife rat he’s turned out to be.
I got something right in previously suggesting that there was more to him being demoted to the development squad, than his load of crap quotes were suggesting.

Ok, he thinks he’s better than the Villa.
That’s fair enough and indeed, I do have some sympathy for him.
How he doesn’t get a start over Lescott is beyond me, at face value.
But with an attitude like his, where he’s made it plain he wants out, it’s hardly a surprise is it?

This has all been done before, with lots of players over the years, but it strikes me the problem is rapidly becoming a media one.

How long before players are banned from Twitter and suchlike, as part of their contracts?

All that said, he can do one, for all I care.
He’s just another lightweight who won’t be man enough for the job next season.

Man, I’m regretting us getting shot of Albrighton even more, now I think about that again.
Now he’s one who would have fought for the club and would tear the championship a new one.
Yet another decision that shows those in charge just didn’t have a clue.

Anyway, I’m beginning to ramble.
Did I say we’d lose?

starting to hate saturday’s 🙁 what could be worse than another surrender, blunder or plain and simple just another not good enough performance.
man for man saints will better. so could hard graft save the day ?? unlikely with the attitudes we have in dressing room.

i am however interested to see the reaction, from the weight being lifted as our great FAN captain and well payed lescott said. i think this might be the best game they played all season. but i call bulshit i doubt if any reaction will happen, nothing has been lifted. same old mistakes miss passes and lack of effort will result in a 0 4 surrender saints need points for euro good for them

I’m not bothered now, nothing to hope for with that shower of shit, we don’t get to see the players from seconed team, we get news of discontent from players that refuse to put the shirt on, the whole club is riddled with pure shit. Score today 0-3 nothing to shout about.

What’s our worst home loss – was it against Arsenal 0-8 with Ted Drake scoring 7 from 7 shots or was that away from home.

Anyway, I ramble. We’ll lose and if we get none, as Shankly said, we will have been lucky!

Just think that all Koeman has to do is ask his team to think of a number and that’s how many goals they’ll score.

As for Okore he can carry Flabby’s bags when they both get the order of the boot.

How bad can we get?, let’s forget about the management side for a minute, from player to coaching, to managers , how do they see games so different to fans?, why do they persist to play poor known players and upset fans, to me let’s just get rid of the f,.king lot because its petty obvious to all that they do not know their game and tactical moves at football.

Lescott was at fault for both goals because he is too slow. That said Richards was nowhere to be seen, centre back… No I don’t think so, not in a million years.

Oh, and why is Bacuna playing with Grealish on the bench and Traore not even in the squad?

At least Toner has come on for the woeful Richards now.

Well sadly we are, although next season he will still be here and everyone else in that list will have moved on. I understand he may not offer everything we want in a midfielder but he always puts a shift in and given the situation he is one of the few real professionals in the squad. I haven’t seen or heard of him mouthing off, going on vacation, or responding to fan criticism, so personally I think we should just let him enjoy his goals. The sad truth is after today’s match he is now our 4th highest goal scorer this season – depressing.

Strange really – you’d think Black would try something different; it’s not as if we expect to win a game but he could try and excite the fans. Play Grealish, Gil and Traore – why not? We know the defence is sh**e so might as well play all out attacking football and let Coco the Clown pick the ball out of the net.

Well it’s official, we must beat rock bottom. Years ago I write to Doug Ellis when we were last relegated and asked him how he had allowed the likes of Simon Stainrod to replace the likes of Gary Shaw!

There is no point in writing to Randolph, as he is suffering from his loss – yes his £250m. Well tough luck Randolph, you have brought our great club to it’s knees. Go!!!

Lets play the game who would you keep, sell or cancel their contract.:77

    My keeps:
    Steer
    Baker
    Clark
    Amavi
    Gana
    Gardner
    Ayew
    Traore
    Grealish

    Sells:
    Bunn
    Bennett
    Okore
    Hutton
    Cissokho
    Sinclair
    Westwood
    Vertout
    Sanchez
    Kozak
    Gestede

    Cancel contract regardless
    Guzan
    Richards
    Lescott
    Ricahrdson
    Bacuna
    Gabby

I’d value your thoughts, ps it’s a given the Blue Nose Black can do one.

richardson and insomia their contracts are ending

their wouldn’t be any chances of keeping Ayew, he will not want a cut in wages and drop to championship. Traore hasn’t got any clause which reduces the wages. can’t see the next manager wanting to waste, most of the playing budget on one player with little to no experience. but i very much doubt, any other club is run like ours and would be willing to buy him, for 8 to 10 mill and pay him 50k to 70k. so would might be stuck with him

You also have to think Championship and whilst you might not
Ike it players like Hutton and Westwood will be essential in a long and physical slog.

Fair enough JV – I don’t think I meant to be literal in naming these two but trying to illustrate the difference in expectation we have to face up to going into the championship.

By and large we need a massive clear out in the summer but some players if they stay will do OK next season.

Westwood can stay, Hutton’s gotta go. He doesn’t work hard, because hard work would involve tracking back, and when tracking back, not being 2 feet from Richards, but actually out wide, defending. It’s one of Cissokho’s biggest problems as well. I swear whoever’s training them needs to bloody learn these things. We’re incredibly weak defensively down the wings because we have no one there.

no dislikes here hutton gets loads of abuse on here along with westwood, but both are the type of players which villa need to build around for the squad in the championship. lots of players need to be shown the door. but these two would relish the step down. we need a manager to be appointed and asses the squad weaknesses. he could officially be in controll after this season, but unofficially be working behinds the scenes. we are wasting this time to prepare for the championship.

I see on the official site that “Black is not interested in the permanent Villa job.”

Really, how would they know? There can’t be anybody at Villa Park left who could keep a straight face while the asked him.

“Eric have you thought of going on ‘Pointless?’ You seem to be an ideal contestant.” No I am staying here but only until the Arsenal thrashing.
